Digital Gaming and Simulation Break-out

 

In this break-out session, we’ll be making a game!  Here’s a screenshot of the finished product:

If you’d like to continue to experiment with Python and gaming when you get home, here are some suggestions:

  1. Download Python (www.python.org) Look for version 2.5 at a minimum.  Python exists on Macintosh too!
  2. Download Pygame (www.pygame.org).  Look for the version of pygame that matches up with your version of Python.
  3. Look on the PyGame site: there are tons of examples and games other people have written.
  4. Have fun!
